Dunklin Street Video
In the heart of Jefferson’s City’s Historical District, the developers of Dunklin Street Properties, L.L.C., Larry Kolb and Steve Rollins, envisioned the revitalization and historical restoration of the 100 block of Dunklin Street. Utilizing state and federal historical tax credits in addition with a city TIF program– financial tools offered for rehabilitation to distressed areas in communities– the developers were able to renovate buildings dating back to the 1890’s. The new construction transformed the area into 9 retail, service, dining businesses and 5 quaint apartments. Pedestrian-friendly sidewalks with benches, trees, lighting and artistic signage complete the restored historical ambience of the entire block.
